A study of (im)politeness on the Facebook pages of the main Spanish political parties: the gender variable and face acts

Este estudio pretende conocer qué sexo tiene mayor participación en las páginas de Facebook de los 5 principales partidos políticos españoles: Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE), Partido Popular (PP), Ciudadanos, Unidos Podemos y Vox y si el comportamiento en función del sexo difiere en torno a los actos de refuerzo de la imagen (FFA - face flattering acts) y a los actos de ataque a la imagen (FTA - face threatening acts). Para ello, se ha elaborado un análisis métrico de la campaña electoral de las elecciones generales del año 2019 y se ha recogido un corpus de 2500 comentarios durante el último día, el 26 de abril.

Resumen: El punto de partida de este articulo es una foto de Julio Lopez, ex detenido-desaparecido de la pasada dictadura argentina y vuelto a desaparecer en 2006 tras dar testimonio en el juicio que condeno al represor Miguel Etchecolatz a prision perpetua. Una foto de Lopez ya vista sera ahora reinsertada en otro contexto, duplicada para ser dada nuevamente a la mirada. Desde ella se desplegaran las singularidades de algunas otros artefactos visuales entendidos como memorias fotograficas de la historia reciente argentina ligada a la pasada dictadura. FO^2 with one transitive relation is decidable

We show that the satisfiability problem for the two-variable first-order logic, FO^2, over transitive structures when only one relation is required to be transitive, is decidable. The result is optimal, as FO^2 over structures with two transitive relations, or with one transitive and one equivalence relation, are known to be undecidable, so in fact, our result completes the classification of FO^2-logics over transitive structures with respect to decidability. We show that the satisfiability problem is in 2-NExpTime. Decidability of the finite satisfiability problem remains open.
Resistive communications based on neuristors

Memristors are passive elements that allow us to store information using a single element per bit. However, this is not the only utility of the memristor. Considering the physical chemical structure of the element used, the memristor can function at the same time as memory and as a communication unit. This paper presents a new approach to the use of the memristor and develops the concept of resistive communication.

Electrical Modeling of Monolithically Integrated GMR Based Current Sensors

We report on the electrical compact model, using Verilog-A, of a monolithically integrated giant magnetoresistance (GMR) based electrical current sensors. For this purpose, a specifically designed ASIC (AMS $0.35\mu \mathrm{m}$ technology) has been considered, onto which such sensors have been patterned and fabricated, following a two-steps procedure. This work is focused on the DC regime model extraction, giving evidences of its good performance and stating the bases for subsequent model improvements.
Towards Open Domain Chatbots—A GRU Architecture for Data Driven Conversations

Understanding of textual content, such as topic and intent recognition, is a critical part of chatbots, allowing the chatbot to provide relevant responses. Although successful in several narrow domains, the potential diversity of content in broader and more open domains renders traditional pattern recognition techniques inaccurate. In this paper, we propose a novel deep learning architecture for content recognition that consists of multiple levels of gated recurrent units (GRUs).
